Great Labrador Loppet Results

On a beautiful sunny day with a high of -7'C, with an excellent groomed trail for classic and skate, a hoard of skiers, local and from away, took to the trails on the 37th running of the Great Labrador Loppet.

The feed stations lived up to their reputations with excellent food and drink, lots of moose soup.

The support was great from the RNC, The Ham Radio Club, The Canadian Ski Patrol, Search & Rescue, Town of Labrador City, Whitewolf Snowmobile Club and Fermont Club. Again we had fanatastic support from our sponsors.

Awards presentation for the youth was at the Whitewolf snowmobile club in the afternoon and later in the evening a gala steak supper, awards and dance took place at the Smokey Mountain Ski Club.

A wonderful day skiing in the wilds of Labrador is done for another year.
