CCNL Policy on High Fluorinated Wax Restrictions
It is prohibited in CCNL sanctioned events for categories Junior Male/Junior Female and younger to use high fluorinated glide wax. EG: 100% fluorinated liquids/gels, powders and block and high fluorinated hydrocarbons.
There are no restrictions in CCNL sanctioned events on glide wax used for U23 Male/U23 Female categories and older.
There are no restrictions on grip wax used in CCNL sanctioned events in any category.
Note: It is imperative that CCNL sanctioned events provide a safe atmosphere for the application of waxes (designated areas, ventilation) and users adhere to the safe practices outlined by the wax manufacturer.
